Pedley Square was acquired in 2007. Without an anchor to drive business, the asset was in a state of distress. Despite the recession, diligent leasing efforts helped fill the shops with household names like Little Caesars, Yum-Yum Donuts, Metro PCS and other daily need tenants. When the junior anchor space was leased and welcomed 99¢ Only, the center was rebranded as “Jurupa Springs.” The leasing momentum only continued, as Walmart Neighborhood Market signed for the lead anchoring space and transformed the property into a prototypic Southern California grocery anchored center. In addition to the completion of exterior building and landscape renovations, new signage, Starbucks Coffee was also welcomed to the center, and impacted the success story at Jurupa Springs!
